Through my google alerts, I came across this fantastic story of inmate work crews from H.M. Northward Prison cleaning up some
of North Side’s most popular spots, removing washed up seaweed and
trash, and leaving the beach picture postcard perfect. They want to save the tourism industry and redirect the lives of some of their fellow people who made mistakes. According to the article, "The whole project is expected to take about three weeks, with teams of
nine to 12 inmates working all day long to clear seaweed and other trash
from the beach. When it’s all finished, two miles of North Side beaches
will be spic and span." They are working very hard towards their project.

Beach cleaning!
Through my Google alerts, I came across this exciting story of how volunteers from the holiday lettings agency Classic Cottages cleaned up the Church Cove on the Lizard beach. They collected 18 bags of trash, which is a huge amount. Among the rubbish were flip-flops, dummies, rugs, wellies etc etc. They worked hard picking up trash and actually proved that nothing is impossible, it just takes a little effort and dedication.
