I came across this story about "Kiran Gems", starting a beach-cleanup initiative, through Google alerts.

Gems, the world's largest diamond manufacturer, took part in a national
initiative called Swachh Bharat Abhiyan with a clean-up drive at Juhu
beach in Mumbai, India.More than 900 of the company's empoyees took part in the cleanup, including the Chairman and the Board of Directors.The
company conducted its cleaning activity with 47 groups of employees
covering the whole stretch of the beach.They also conducted a little award ceremony, to appreciate the effort of their employees. The six best-performing groups
received trophies, and the best 20 individual performances. were also
recognized.
